We receive the transparency and good practices accreditation granted by Lealtad Instituciones, an entity focused on analyzing and accrediting the transparency, good governance, and good practices of corporate foundations like acciona.org. Lealtad Instituciones was specifically created for the evaluation of corporate, family and private foundations by Fundación Lealtad, a prestigious independent evaluator of NGOs in Spain.
Obtaining this recognition requires passing an exhaustive independent evaluation process based on 33 criteria grouped into 7 Principles of Transparency and Good Practices defined by a committee of experts constituted by Lealtad Instituciones.
Along with the granting of this accreditation, the organization issues a Transparency and Good Practices Report for the acciona.org Foundation (content available in Spanish), which explains the full compliance with the principles of Lealtad. These principles range from the regulation of the board of trustees and the clarity of the social purpose to accountability, financial transparency, and legal compliance, among others.
This recognition highlights the transparent and responsible practices in the management of acciona.org, underscoring the rigor with which we have been carrying out our cooperative efforts. Since our inception in 2008, we have based our operations on the core values of transparency, objectivity, and social responsibility.
acciona.org is one of the foundations accredited by Lealtad Instituciones, among others such as: Fundación Addeco, Fundación Princesa de Girona, Fundación Banco Santander, Fundación PwC, Fundación Aon España, or Fundación Ronald McDonald.
