We present a new video on our activity to show, on this occasion, the activity developed with Light at Home in the Philippine province of Palawan since 2022.
We bring sustainable, affordable electricity to rural communities in a paradisiacal environment where, however, there are significant difficulties in extending the distribution networks. Light at Home Palawan is based on the electricity supply through solar home systems, an affordable-fee-for-service model and with the support of the Light at Home Centers, located in local small shops to give proximity assistance to beneficiaries.
We implement Light at Home Palawan collaborating, initially, with Ayala Foundation and then with AECID ─the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation─ which co funds the recent phases of growth of this initiative.
At the beginning of 2025, Light at Home Palawan attended to almost 12,000 beneficiaries in more than 2,600 households together with small shops and others, which have the electricity service we provide.
