Let there be light, the docuseries by acciona.org, has been awarded by the United Way Foundation for highlighting sustainable development and the importance of volunteering through communication. The recognition highlights the innovative and informative content of the docuseries and its impact on volunteer programs.

The series reflects, through the experience of volunteer Ibra Youssef, how acciona.org provides electricity service to remote communities in the Amazon forest and the Andes of Peru. The series has five episodes that show how far the acciona.org Foundation goes to provide renewable electricity supply, from solar home systems, to isolated communities and shows the improvements that electricity brings to the quality of life in the most remote households.

The complete series has been available on Movistar Plus + since October 24. It can also be watched at lettherebelight.acciona.org. There are also 5 half-hour podcasts, with additional information, stories and interviews to learn more about the challenge of bringing electricity to isolated areas, which are also available on Spotify (only Spanish version) and Youtube Podcast platforms.
