WE ARE A SOCIAL ELECTRICITY PUBLIC UTILITY
acciona.org Peru is recognized as an electricity public utility within the Peruvian regulatory framework; we were the first provider in having obtained the rural electric concession based on, exclusively, solar home systems. We currently offer electricity service in Mountain region and Rainforest region and we apply the following tariffs according to the area of operation and the type of systems installed:
- Mountain
BT8-070 and BT8-100 tariffs, published in the newspaper "Panorama Cajamarquino" on November 14th 2018. - Rainforest
BT8-050-PRE tariff, published in the newspaper "La Región" on November 14th 2018.
We offer access to the electricity basic service through solar home systems included in these official tariffs, as well as through photovoltaic micro grids, within Luz en Casa, Luz en Casa Amazonia and Luz en Casa Cusco rural electrification programmes.
In addition, we carry out other access-to-energy initiatives, such as the photovoltaic plant installed in a high school at San Juan Marcona (Ica) that we also operate to guarantee the electricity supply for the use of laboratories and other facilities to teenagers from vulnerable areas studying in this educational centre.
