“WE BRING SUSTAINABLE, AFFORDABLE ELECTRICITY TO RURAL HOMES AND A URBAN EDUCATIONAL CENTRE IN SAN LUIS POTOSI”
Since 2022, we offer solutions of access to the electricity basic service in an affordable, reliable, sustainable way in the state of San Luis Potosi.
We have implemented a first pilot project of Luz en Casa that, through third generation solar home systems (3GSHS), has brought access to the electricity, for the first time, to 48 households in the municipalities of Aquismon and Tancanhuitz de Santos in the Huasteca region, improving the quality of life of about 200 people. This first project of Luz en Casa in San Luis Potosi has been cofunded by the Service business of ACCIONA in Mexico.
In addition, in the city of San Luis Potosi, we have implemented a grid-interconnected solar photovoltaic station to provide clean energy and generate great savings in the energy expenditure of the educational institution called Colonia Juvenil, a NGO which offers an integral education to more than 100 low-income, young people coming from rural communities in San Luis Potosi. We have developed this project in collaboration with the Service business of ACCIONA, BMW Group Planta San Luis Potosi and BayWa r.e.

We continue growing in Mexico
12/27/2022 Luz en Casa SLPIn 2022, our initiatives reached, for the first time, rural communities in the Huasteca region in San Luis Potosi, as well as the capital of this Mexican state. In addition, we continued our activity in rural communities in the state of Oaxaca to extending a reliable access to water, sanitation and cooking and improving the access-to-electricity delivery model.
